About Ava
I am a high school student that is looking forward to helping others get through school and meet their full potential. The reason I decided to start tutoring is because I found that it was a great community service project. Through school I have not struggled with subjects and have made a very high percentage of A's. I knew I was able to tutor and it had so many good outcomes that I decided to start tutoring.

As a tutor I answer your students questions in a way that makes them work to get the right answer. I would use the Socratic method which means teaching the students by asking questions that lead them to the answer. Elementary students can greatly benefit from this kind of teaching because they will actually learn how to solve problems. I will work towards teaching your child the fundamental knowledge they need to understand the subject they are struggling at. These lessons are for elementary students who need help in math, literacy, and English.
