About Coco
I am a Grade 12 student based in Victoria, BC, with Mandarin as my native language. I am currently studying Grade 12 China Mathematics, which emphasizes advanced problem-solving and complex calculations. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping others strengthen their academic skills. My goal as a tutor is to support students in developing confidence, understanding challenging concepts, and achieving their learning goals.

My teaching approach is personalized — I start by asking what the student wants to learn and focus on their goals. Each lesson is flexible and designed to match the student’s learning style, pace, and interests. I use simple explanations, examples, and practice exercises to help them understand and build confidence. I enjoy working with students around my age as well as younger children because I can easily connect with them. I make learning fun, supportive, and comfortable so students feel motivated to improve and ask questions freely. My lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their skills — from young learners to students seeking extra help in specific subjects or skills development.
