About Siwoo
Hello! I’m a high school student who has consistently earned A’s in all my math courses, including Algebra, Geometry, and AP Calculus AB. With strong academic performance and a deep understanding of these subjects, I am well-equipped to help students build confidence and succeed in math.
My teaching approach is patient and clear, focusing on step by step explanations tailored to each student’s needs. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

- My teaching method and techniques
I focus on building a strong foundation by breaking down concepts into simple steps. I explain clearly, give examples, and always check for understanding. I use visuals, real-world problems, and guide students from basic ideas to more complex ones. I encourage students to ask questions and try solving problems on their own, with support when needed.
- A typical lesson plan
Each lesson starts with a quick review of the last topic or homework. Then I introduce the new topic with a clear explanation and example problems. Next, the student practices problems with my help. We finish with a summary of what we learned and quick questions to check understanding or having test. Lessons are flexible depending on the student's needs, schoolwork, or test prep.
- What sets you apart as a tutor
I'm a current high school student who has completed AP Calculus AB, and got 5. So I understand the learning process from a student’s point of view. I explain things in a way that’s easy to understand and don’t rush. I’m patient, friendly, and committed to helping students feel confident. I also know how to support students who feel behind or unsure.
