About Kareem

I am a dedicated student who has been tutoring 5th-8th graders for 1 year to date. I have had the pleasure of working with roughly 5 students during this time, all of whom are currently achieving straight A's. They have also received Honor Roll recognition in their schools and developed a strong work ethic for the future. I am currently taking AP Calculus and began Pre-Algebra in the 5th grade. Furthermore, my love for science has led me to participate in UCI's Internship program as well as the OC Science Fair.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I make it my top priority to educate with a fun yet informative matter that keeps students engaged. I understand that school can be difficult, which is why I work to incorporate interactive teaching methods and specialized approaches to meet every person's individual needs. I have learned through first-hand experience that it is important to sustain a positive environment where students are not overwhelmed or stressed.
