About Alpha

I have a deep understanding of math, backed by a 99-100% average in all high school math courses and over 10+ years of training as a Kumon student. I’m passionate, reliable, and fully committed to helping you understand concepts clearly and build lasting confidence.

About the lesson

Need help with math? I’m a high school student who understands how confusing it can be—and how to make it easier! I tutor high school students with clear explanations, lots of patience, and tips that actually work.

I explain things in a way that makes sense for other students—not like a textbook or a lecture. I also know what teachers are actually looking for and how to study smarter, not just harder.

Who are these lessons for?
I tutor high school students (grades 9–12) in algebra, geometry & pre-calculus + students who are looking for general math help and homework support.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I focus on building understanding, not just memorization. I break down complex problems into simpler steps and explain why things work using real-life examples, visuals, and practice problems to help you truly “get it.”

A Typical Lesson Plan
1) Every session starts with a quick check-in:
- What are you currently learning?
- What’s confusing or frustrating?
- Any homework or upcoming tests?

2) From there, I’ll:
- Review key concepts in a way that makes sense to you.
- Walk through example problems together.
- Help you try problems on your own with guided support.
- Share tips, shortcuts, and strategies that actually help on tests and homework.
