About Alison
Hi, I am a high school student in North Carolina, and I have always had a passion for learning and teaching! I was previously apart of a program at my high school that allowed upper-class men to tutor younger students, I loved it! A lot of the kids I was tutoring were studying for finals and to improve their reading skills and by the end of the year, they had over 90 in their finals. I am looking to specialize in reading and math since all through my years of school I've been an A+ student in those classes.

I believe tutors must be one on one because sometimes people don't learn the way the teacher is teaching. Every mind thinks differently! I have been a student that struggled with motivation and test-taking skills before so I have an understanding of how the student I'm teaching feels. Not, only is the student suffering but so is the parent because they're not sure how to help, but that's where I come in :)
