About Joshua
I am confident I can teach people how to play with 4 mallets, as well as improve snare drum and timpani technique. I may not be a very experienced tutor, but I have some experience teaching my peers in academics and in music, and I am hoping to take that to a higher level.

I have a relaxed and slow approach, making careful observation of technique and correcting errors as they appear. I aim to teach mainly keyboard percussion to beginner students, specifically four mallet technique (stevens grip). I can also give advice on snare drum and timpani, but to a lesser degree.
I am a two time region band musician, qualifying for freshman region band in ninth grade, and high school region band in tenth grade.
