About Sia

Hi, I'm Sia, a high school senior from San Diego! I love English, and have extensive experience coaching SAT prep. I scored >99th percentile on the Reading and Writing portion of the SAT, and my writing has been showcased on international stages. I have already helped over 60 high school students grow their skills through my 5-week intensive course, and I want to help YOU crush the English section of your SAT!

About the lesson

I don't use rigid, impersonal methods of teaching, like ready-made practice sheets, or simply lecturing out of a book. Rather, I assess your skills using College Board's 4 R&W question types and their subcategories, then create materials customized to YOU and the gaps in your knowledge. I also teach you how to test smart, teaching you the tips and tricks College Board doesn't want you to know to game the SAT. By the end of your tutoring, you'll have both a solid understanding of the concepts being tested and the know-how to make the test work for YOU, and finish in record time with a score you'll be proud of.
