About Ben

I've been teaching students for almost 7 years now. I've been a karate instructor since I was 11 as well as organized a school wide study club. I used these skills to help provide easy, accessible, and useful information for my peers and students. By focusing on the goals of my students, I created personalized lesson plans that help them learn as well as succeed in the academic environment.

In terms of my own Academic accomplishment, I have a 4.8 GPA, taken 23 AP Classes, and have a top 1% PSAT and SAT score. Through these experiences, I know what's required to academically succeed and I can't wait to help you!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my goal is to help you learn the lessons and materials the way that will best help you succeed in class.

When we work together, we'll be looking at assignments and work from your own teacher so we can help you not let your homework assignments pile up. By doing this, you'll learn the material even better so you have the tools you need to ace your test.

When we prepare for a test, I use fun techniques like games, interactive presentations, and engaging exercises to help you understand your topics. Aside from that, I also provide take home material and resources made and accumulated by yours truly for you to study when you're not with me, instead of just confining your learning experience to a paid session.

By getting you to feel confident in your class, you'll be able to learn more, grow your skills, and make your life easier. I work with middle school and high school students on any subject, as well as prep for standardized tests.
