Hi! My name is James and I am a qualified Mathematics teacher at Caringbah selective High School.

- Extensive experience with one-on-one private tutoring
- Flexible as to where you would like me to tutor students
- Have experienced positive results from previous and current clients, including increases in grades from around 50% to full marks.

About the lesson

I am motivated to prepare thoroughly and efficiently for students, as this preparation is directly aligned with my career goals as a math teacher. I guide students through questions which are personalized to their current skill level and love to have discursive conversations about the content to help them forge their own understanding of the material. I also provide just the right amount of support, by carefully paying attention to exactly where they need it. This ensures that students push past their comfort zone and develop the necessary skills to solve questions independently, which is crucial for exams and true understanding.

I normally charge $100/hr. This is for those who live within around a 10 minute drive. Any further away will likely cost extra
