About Anthony
I’ve always loved math and when it came time togo to college, I knew being a math teacher was what I should do. Teaching math is exciting to me, especially seeing that moment when it clicks and begins to make sense to a student. After only three years in the classroom I’d already established myself as a stellar and committed teacher - even winning teacher of the year for my school district! All of my students say they’ve never had a teacher like me and that I’ve made math feel easier for them.

I think math should and can be fun! Sometimes, students can begin to feel that math is not for them or that they aren’t a math person because they struggle or need help. Through reviewing areas of confusion and connecting concepts to prior learning, I help students strengthen their math skills and build their confidence. Learning is a journey, and there will be challenges. With the right support and additional practice we can experience success!
