About Chris
I am a high school math teacher at Legend High School in Parker, and also teach computer science courses for Colorado Community Colleges Online.
I love tutoring any level of math course, programming (C++, C, Python, and Java in particular), and computer science theory (equivalent to the AP Computer Science course).

As a teacher I focus on pointing out the tricky parts of particular concepts, plus how the concepts relate to similar topics, in addition to presenting new material. I love answering questions, and guiding students through sample problems (in both math and computer science you have to do problems/programs to really learn the material, but I know it's easy to get stuck at times).
As a tutor, my goal is to focus on the student's question or questions (as opposed to "lecturing" on new material, though I can also do that if needed).
I also like to point out additional resources a student can use online (sometimes just seeing the material presented in a different way can help a lot).
