My name is Katie and I have been a high school math teacher for the past 4 years! In addition to teaching, I also coach tennis and basketball at my school. I love sharing my knowledge of mathematics with people and showing them that they are good at math and it is relevant to their life.

I have taught: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus with Trig, and AP Calculus AB
Lesson Structure:
-homework help: this is a time for students to ask for feedback on work they have already attempted on their own, 5-15 minutes
-math game related to the lesson for the day: catered to students age and interests, 5-10 minutes
-I do, we do, you do: present the content, try some problems together, try some problems on your own, 30-45 minutes
-debrief: discuss at the end what went well, and what we should work on next time.
