About John
Hello! My name is John, and I am a 15-year-old high-school junior!
I am here to help with your questions and concerns regarding English, arithmetic, and base-level algebra! As a student, I am fully aware of how challenging these subjects can be, and many teachers need to remember this fact. As a learner, you can have confidence in my ability to simplify the learning process and remain patient, adapting to your academic needs as we go along!
Some specific examples of personal academic achievement include skipping the 4th grade, two consecutive honor roll awards during 7th and 8th grade, a 3.77 average weighted GPA during my 9th and 10th-grade years, acceptance into the National Honor Society in my active junior year, 6 AP courses, notably AP Calculus BC (actively pursuing), in addition to both AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition.

As an avid writer, I enjoy sharing my compositions and using them to educate my peers on the nature and complexities of the English language. I also assist with basic arithmetic and algebra, among other mathematical concepts, which can often be challenging to grasp.
A level of relatability is needed in teaching and tutoring, which I can provide as an active student. I am confident in my ability to assist others who may have a similar level of education to myself, as I have always strived for perfection in any of my academic endeavors.
When assisting my peers or anyone else, I adapt to their specific needs as far as I can. As such, I will often ask what specific help they require and do my best to fulfill said needs. I can also provide an overview of most specific topics to my level of knowledge.
My lessons are primarily for students in their second or first years of high school, and all levels below that may require a base-level introduction or general overview of a specific subject. As a student myself, I may occasionally need to reference personal notes, past work, or brief dives into a textbook or the internet to fill any gaps in memory or knowledge that I may have myself.
