About Aniah-rose
To Whom It May Concern,
During my time in High School, I was accepted into the National Honors Society. Being part of the chapter requires dedication, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking, all traits that I possess. My favorite class at school is health science. I would say that I excel at that subject the most. Through AVID, a college readiness program I am a part of, I have gained so many career skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, active listening, and peer counseling. These are all essential in any work environment and I believe that I would contribute a lot to this particular position.
One of the aspects that attracted me to this job is tutoring for the reading subject. Reading comprehension is one of my strongest subjects in school, considering I have passed every reading and English end of course exams and Florida State Assessments throughout middle and high school. As I build my college application and experience, I would love to have the chance to work with you.

I start by identifying what specific skill one is struggling with. Then I set up a practice problem that requires the skill. I break down the steps in an easily comprehensible manner. To make sure the student understands, we will go through 3-5 different problems. By the end, they should be confident in the skill they were once struggling with. I utilize khan academy as a resource. I am a High School Junior who is scheduled in Senior classes so I am only comfortable helping with 11th grade and below courses. These would include Pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra 2, Biology, Chemistry, Comprehensive Science.
