About John
I am a high school graduate with honors, graduating with an average of 90%, and I am now pursuing a degree in Physics at Trent University. My academic achievements reflect my dedication and strong skills in mathematics: I was the recipient of the BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Award and a two-time participant in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest organized by the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing. I also hold the all-time highest score in my school for this contest.

I offer math tutoring for high school students in grades 9–10, focusing on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, and problem solving. As a high school honors graduate and current physics major at Trent University, I understand both the curriculum and the common challenges students face most often. My lessons involve me focusing not on the theory as a whole, but on the particular topics/questions the student struggles with. I do not teach from scratch but rather fill in the blank spaces in student's understanding of the subject. Whether you are preparing for tests or want to strengthen your everyday math skills, I can guide you effectively.
