Hi! I’m a high school junior who recently scored a 5 on the AP World History exam. Because I navigated this course so recently, I know exactly what it feels like to face the massive mountain of textbook content, the ticking timer, and the intense pressure of the writing sections.
I don't just teach historical facts—I teach the exact system I used to master the material while managing a heavy honors high school workload. Textbooks can be incredibly dense, but I specialize in breaking down historical eras, continuity, and global changes into simple, memorable concepts.
I understand the current class structure inside and out. I know exactly what the College Board rubrics are looking for, what common traps to avoid, and how to turn history knowledge into high-scoring essays. About the lesson

Because I recently took the AP World History exam and scored a 5, I know exactly what it takes to succeed in this class without getting buried in the massive amount of content. Textbooks are often way too dense, so I focus on breaking history down into memorable themes, major trends, and the exact skills required by the College Board.
My online lessons are highly interactive and structured to tackle the heaviest parts of the AP course:
1. Mastering the Writing Rubrics (DBQ & LEQ): I teach step-by-step frameworks to guarantee points on the Thesis, Contextualization, and Evidence. I also share the exact formulas I used to secure the elusive 'Complexity' point under a strict timer.
2. Decoding Stimulus-Based MCQs: We practice strategies to quickly analyze historical text excerpts, maps, and images so students can find the right answer efficiently without running out of time.
3. Active Recall & Historical Connections: Instead of forcing mindless memorization of thousands of flashcards, I help students understand the 'why' behind historical events, connecting trade routes, empires, and global changes across all 9 units.
