About Tori
I take teaching math seriously but I try to make it as fun as possible for whomever I am tutoring in the moment, because I know usually when needing a tutor for something it is mainly because it's not something that they enjoy so it isn't something that will grasp in their brains so I try to bring in themes with what they like to help them want to learn which makes it easier for them to actually understand what they are learning.

I've always had a higher hand with numbers and most math related things, they've always came easy to me and when I was in school I was the one friend that always helped everyone with their math. I always take my time to try to get an understanding of what the best route to teach each person; Because I know trying to understand math can be difficult especially when you feel like the person whose helping you isn't taking the time to teach you in a way that you can grasp it.
My main route to approach teaching is having them try to solve the problem then explain to me how they did so; whether they get it right or wrong is when I then would go in and start showing them where they started to mess up and see if they can try to fix it themself. I feel like it's easier to learn when someone is patient with you rather than feeling like you're being rushed and aren't being heard.
