About Chandan
Hi, my name is Chandan! I am a motivated and dedicated high school graduate with a 3.75 GPA and a 1420 SAT score. Throughout high school I challenged myself by enrolling in Honors Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 2, AP pre-calc, and AP Calc AB where I developed a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. While I am new to tutoring, I take my role seriously and come fully prepared to every session with a clear plan and a positive attitude. I am patient, approachable, and genuinely committed to helping each student build their confidence and reach their academic goals.

My name is Chandan and I am a high school graduate with a 3.75 GPA, a 1420 SAT score, and a background in Honors Algebra 1 and Honors Algebra 2. I specialize in tutoring students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, SAT Math, PSAT, and GED prep. My teaching approach is patient, simple, and student-centered. I focus on meeting each student where they are and building their understanding step by step rather than rushing through material. A typical lesson begins with identifying where the student is struggling, then working through concepts together using clear examples before moving on to practice problems. What sets me apart is my ability to relate to students who find math intimidating.
