About Harshita

About me? I am a semi-ordinary girl who loves learning, school? Not so much. I have big aspirations and would love to help another learn more about math since I personally like it. I have won a gold medal in math and have self-studied math 2 to bypass it without a teacher. I feel like I am easy-going but do tend to go overboard sometimes so feel free to speak your mind and communicate if I do something that makes you uncomfortable. I love meeting new people and am an extrovert. People have described me as bubbly, friendly, smart, dedicated, hard-working, and diligent. I also am Varsity tennis captain for Central High's tennis team.

About the lesson

I like to have an open teaching style, ranging to fit the learner. I was dyslexic as a kid so I understand how learning a certain way is difficult for some students. I like to match the way the students learn. Teaching - textbook methods -visual learning -examples -hands-on practice problems -catering to the students' needs - short but effective lessons The day will start with what we will cover and a recap of what the student already knows/remembers. We will quickly cover the basics for memory and then use a method that works for the student, helping them actually learn the content, not just complete their homework.
