About Emilie

I am a female 20 year old university student. I am keen to help my students achieve desirable grades in English. I work efficiently in trying to find the best methods of study/revision for you. I will also strive to enhance your strengths within the subject and flatten out weaknesses. I am passionate in giving you confidence in your knowledge whilst also being laidback enough for you to be able to enjoy this subject to its full capacity, by focusing on whatever you feel you wish to improve. I know English can be initially daunting due to the vastness of the subject but I wish to condense your curriculum at a pace that best suits you.

About the lesson

I am very passionate about the subject, I believe I can help anyone truly enjoy English and ultimately achieve good grades. I achieved A** and an A* in English literature and English language GCSE. I then went on to study English Literature, English Language and Film Studies at A level. I am now going into my second year of studying English Literature at degree level, where I am predicted a first. I am also a writer and have been recently published, as well as being a winner of multiple writing competitions. I adore tutoring English as it is something I am extremely fascinated by and I strive to help others understand and ultimately appreciate the subject as much as I do because if you enjoy learning about something you are much more likely to achieve at a higher level, which is what I found when undergoing my own exams.
