About Jennifer

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I have recently completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program with a strong focus on all areas including Math, Science and Humanities. I’m offering fun, engaging, and supportive tutoring sessions for primary school students who want to improve their understanding in these subjects. As someone who has always been curious about how the world works from numbers and patterns to the way things move, grow, and change I’ve come to truly enjoy learning and explaining concepts in a way that makes sense as a part of my own revision. That’s why I want to teach: to share what I’ve learned as well as my study tips that have proven to work to help young students develop a love for problem-solving, and show them that learning can be both challenging and rewarding. Whether your child needs help with homework, wants to prepare for school assessments or study concepts ahead, I’ll tailor each session to their pace and needs. My approach is patient, encouraging, and interactive, aiming to build both skills and confidence.

About the lesson

As an IB student with the highest achievable result in Mathematics and Science, my tutoring approach is clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, using visual aids, real-life examples, and guided practice to help students build confidence and problem-solving skills. My lessons are times are flexible depending on your needs. I have experience supporting junior high school students ( year 7–9) with core topics such as arithmetic, fractions, word problems, and science help as a part of the school's service program and am seeking students from K-8. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to improve. Whether your child needs help catching up, boosting their confidence, or extending their skills, I personalize each lesson to support their individual learning goals.
