Hi, I’m Casey! I am a high-achieving student with a deep passion for Mathematics and Physical Science. Having recently navigated the challenges of the current South African curriculum, I know exactly what it takes to grasp difficult concepts and excel in exams. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid coder. I believe that the logic used in programming is the 'secret weapon' for mastering Math and Science. I don't just teach students to memorize formulas; I help them understand the underlying logic so they can solve even the toughest unseen problems. About the lesson

I prioritize patience and clarity, adapting to your unique learning speed. I know how frustrating it is to feel "stuck" on a concept while the rest of the class moves on. I’ll explain complex topics as many times as needed, using diverse, relatable examples to ensure a deep, intuitive understanding rather than just rote memorization.

My Approach:

The "Gap Analysis": We start by finding exactly where the "missing link" is—whether it’s a shaky foundation in Algebra or confusion over Physics formulas.

Practical Examples: Because I enjoy coding, I use logical, "if-then" thinking to help you see patterns in Math and Science that make the answers feel obvious.

Interactive Problem Solving: I don't just lecture. We work through problems together on a digital whiteboard (for online) or paper (in-person) until you feel confident doing them solo.

Exam Prep: We tackle past papers (CAPS/IEB) to get you comfortable with the way questions are phrased and how to grab every possible mark.Subjects I can help with:

Math: Algebra, Functions, Geometry, and Trigonometry.

Physical Sciences: Mechanics (Physics) and Matter & Materials (Chemistry).

Coding Basics: Understanding logic, variables, and basic syntax for beginners.

My rates reflect my deep understanding of the current CAPS/IEB curriculum and my ability to integrate coding logic into STEM subjects. I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your goals and ensure we are a good match before you commit.

Travel Policy:

Online: No extra charge.

In-Person (At My Home): R120/hr — I offer a discount for students who come to my residence in Highway Gardens Edenvale, as it allows us to dive straight into the work!

In-Person (Travel to You): R150/hr — Includes a small fee to cover travel time and transport costs within a 5km–10km radius.
