About Letitia

I’m a positive, happy and bubbly person who has a real passion for teaching and helping others. Working with children and making a difference in their lives is what makes teaching the perfect fit for me! One of my favourite things is seeing a learner grow from feeling unsure of themselves to becoming more confident and achieving better marks. Seeing their progress and knowing I played a part in their success is one of the most rewarding feelings ever!

About the lesson

-I believe in building positive relationships with all my learners, without this, how can a learner feel confident and comfortable to learn?

-I am proficient in English and Afrikaans, as I come from a bilingual household and I have always had a passion for language.

- At the beginning of our lessons, we’ll take a few minutes to chat about your day, how you’re feeling and how things are going. This helps me understand you better and support you in the way that works best for you.

Our lessons will be a team effort! We won’t just focus on completing work, but on understanding it, asking questions, solving problems and building your confidence along the way. You don’t have to know all the answers or get everything right the first time. We’ll work through challenges together, learn from mistakes and celebrate your progress, because I believe we can achieve so much more when we work together!

- I have loads of experience with learners who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, anxiety and also those who just do better with individual attention.
