About Cristina
My name is Cristina and I´m from a small city in Spain called Zamora. I´m 18 and currently on my first year on Engineering Common Entry in UL, in hopes to specialize in Mechanical Engineering.
I love nature and animals, especially horses. I also have a cat that was abandoned on the street when she was little, her name is Luna. Besides, I enjoy eating (a lot ) and trying new foods and flavours. I also really like watching series and films with my dad. I´m really looking forward to go back to Spain and watch a long list we are pending!

A crucial part of learning any language is speaking. Sadly, schools don´t focus on it as much as they should. Speaking a language fluently and being able to understand and communicate with natives is key to master any language.
I will focus on the speaking and listening part of Spanish, as well as teach common vocabulary and expresions used on a daily basis.
As a first year Engineering student in UL, I could teach kids and teens in a medium-high level. My lessons would be an hour long and conversation will play a huge role. We will do dynamic activities such as cooking or going for walks, reading books, watching movies… etc. That’s how I personally learned English and I consider this teaching method to be extremely effective as it combines learning with fun activities
