About Tessa
"I grew up as a native Spanish speaker and spent 13 years gigging in the Australian Latin music scene. Teaching is not just about translating words but about understanding the culture behind the language. My 11 years of experience include preparing students for the DELE exam and helping professionals with business Spanish.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Melbourne, which helps me explain complex grammar to advanced learners, teens, and kids. I have worked with 309 students to sharpen their reading comprehension and pronunciation. Sometimes the best way to learn is simply to speak and make mistakes.
I provide free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes for everyone I teach. It is all about building a solid base."
