About Chiquita
I started writing songs to make sense of the world. It began as a hobby and turned into a career.
My 10 years in the industry have taught me how to refine a simple thought into a full track. I hold a BMus Composition from the University of Melbourne.
These days I focus on motif development and melodic phrasing to help you find your voice. I love helping gigging musicians and career switchers sharpen their lyrics with better imagery.
My process is very chill and student-led. I prefer to keep things positive while we work through your concepts. We can look at your current ideas whenever you are ready to start.

Writing a bridge is often where most people get stuck. A short project after every lesson gives you a clear goal to aim for. I bring 10 years of experience to help you with title development and demoing your ideas. It is great to see content creators and aspiring artists leave with a finished piece.
We focus on melody writing and writing to a brief so you stay consistent. My background in composition helps us fix those tricky spots in your structure. It is genuinely fun to see your tracks come together from start to finish.
