About Kate
I am a dedicated Flute tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. Teaching flute has been a rewarding journey where I have helped students build skill and confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear instruction, encouragement, and consistency. I believe every student can learn music with the right support. I adapt lessons to match the student’s pace and goals.
In my lessons, students learn breathing control, tone clarity, finger accuracy, rhythm control, and musical expression. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation to build complete musicianship.
One of my notable achievements is guiding students who have performed confidently in academic events, stage programmes, and music assessments. Many students have developed strong foundations through structured learning.
My goal is to help students enjoy flute learning and develop a lifelong love for music.
