About Bhanu
Hey! I’m Bhanu, a Computer Science student at the University of Edinburgh. I’ve got a solid background in maths and science, and I spent the first two years of my degree in India, where I also prepared for competitive exams—so I know a thing or two about problem-solving and building concepts from the ground up. My lessons are structured but friendly—I won’t be a strict teacher, more like an elder brother guiding you through tricky topics. I love breaking things down, encouraging questions, and making sure you actually get the skills that will stick with you long-term. It’s okay if you don’t do your homework sometimes—but I’d just request that you don’t make it a habit! Usually, we’ll have an hour together with clear explanations, practice problems, and quick reviews to make sure everything clicks. I work with students of all levels—from younger learners needing extra support to those preparing for IGCSE, A-Level, or IB exams. My goal is to make learning positive, encouraging, and even a little fun, so you feel motivated and confident.

My tutoring approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s pace. I focus on breaking down concepts into simple steps, using real-life examples and practice problems to make learning easier and more engaging. I believe in building strong foundations first, then gradually moving to more advanced topics to help students feel confident. A typical lesson is about an hour long and includes a mix of explanation, interactive problem-solving, and quick review to make sure the student fully understands the topic. I also provide tips and tricks for revision and exam preparation when needed. My goal is to help kids learn at their own pace, build strong skills, and enjoy the process of learning.
