About Daniel
I care about helping others beyond just the task at hand. Writing plays a bigger role in everyday life than many people realize, and I keep that in mind when working with a writer. One's writing has tremendous effects on their career, their school life, and their personal life. I consider myself a compassionate and determined person who wants to help not just the work being done, but the person doing it.

I enjoy an interactive process, giving feedback and options but letting the student make the final call (without pressure). I'll correct technical mistakes, like grammatical errors, but my main focus is on the goals of the individual student- developing the ideas they are trying to express. I am good at taking a meticulous approach to a paper, depending on the needs and time constraints of the writer. We can go line by line, or even word by word, whatever you prefer. Even more than that, we can do a "big picture" revision once the whole draft is done, to give an additional layer of clarity on top of the more detailed, piecemeal revisions. My own writing courses were mostly in fiction writing, and also in American literature, grammar, scientific research writing, multicultural lit, and a few others.
