About Sakshee

I completed my GCSEs in 2019 and achieved 10 Grade 9s (A* equivalents) and my A-levels in 2021 with 4 Grade A*. I am now studying medicine in my second year at university. I have a lot of experience working in small groups and explaining topics in a clear and understandable way. I have helped many peers in their understanding of maths throughout my education and also have a background of two years in tutoring A-level and GCSE students.

About the lesson

My main teaching method would be through explaining with examples and providing lots of practice material for students; I would avoid passive power points, and really try to create an environment that facilitates students' active participation with the material thereby enhancing the assimilation of the maths.

One of the subjects that I found particularly difficult during my A level Maths course was the probability topic in the Statistics module. Sakshee was able to break down what was originally a complex and confusing topic into something much more intuitive. This helped me to then make significant progress with my understanding of statistics in general. This not only helped me in maths, but across other subjects such as biology that use similar concepts. I would highly recommend Sakshee as a tutor without any hesitation.
