About Nigel
My current profession is teaching Middle School Science, which means I am familiar with the subject matter, but also know how to help teenagers and children navigate through the difficulties of learning. I am also comfortable with adapting my teaching style to match each student's learning style to ensure their success.
I specialize in biology, anatomy and physiology, as well as earth and space science, especially within the Abeka curriculum. I also have experience teaching students with mild to moderate learning challenges such as ADHD and anxiety.

Before beginning the lesson for the day, I typically like to review the previous lesson to aid in retention and also assess the student's studying habits. I make an effort to simplify complex concepts into practical examples that students can remember and practically apply to their lives. I push students to be the very best version of themselves, challenging them while also having fun as they develop in their education and maturity.
