About Nicholas

My number one goal is to inspire you to do better with your education. Whether it is in the topics I am tutoring or in life in general. I am here to, not only help you with your math homework/test/quiz, but I am also here to inspire you to be the best you.

Growing up I was never the best student. I fooled around. Got decent grades. But then adult hood hit me and I finally went to college. I grew up mostly with people older than me so I knew college was going to be a challenge. I knew that it was something I couldn't take as a joke. And even though I told myself that, and I knew how hard it was going to be it was still way harder than I expected. And it honestly prepared me for the real world. Something I wish I had done sooner with my life. But it is better late than never.

Now I am a current college student. Looking to be something in this world. I am still unsure but I have big dreams and goals and I hope to inspire you to have the same.

About the lesson

The best teaching method is connecting. If I can understand how you think. I can help you understand better when learning math. I think building this connection will help me also plan lessons depending on your learning style. Whether it being learning visually, or on your own, etc.

What does a typical lesson plan look like?
In math memorization is key. If you can memorize a formula or memorize steps, you will always be able to determine the answer.

What's done a lot in school is practice questions, practice problems, practice quizzes & tests. It's a lot of "practice" and this is done for a reason. In your brain the more you practice something the stronger your memory of that thing you practiced becomes.

With my lessons I teach in a way that is 'Fun' & 'Interactive' for students to stay engaged and focused while learning. Depending on the student, I use different teaching methods whether it being flashcards, practice sheets, videos, reviewing textbook information/notes, etc.

MY GOAL IS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND MATH.

- My lessons are for, Elementary students, Middle school students, and High school students.
