About Kayleigh
I didn't always find math as easy as I do now, in fact, I used to find it pretty boring. However, once I got to Calculus, I had a great teacher. He let us make lots of mistakes and taught us that math is meant to be hard. Struggling in math doesn't mean you're not good at it or that you can't succeed. I believe that through my own struggles, I can help make learning math enjoyable and inspire confidence in every student. Anyone can do math!

I like using visuals to help explain math, and whiteboards. I find many people, myself included, can get confused when teachers skip steps. I think that giving people an example and then having them do similar problems by themselves allows them to learn to solve the problems independently, with enough support. I think what sets me apart is my patience and ability to work with kids. Not only do I enjoy teaching math, but I've been a babysitter for younger children and can make learning enjoyable, and not too strenuous. I can teach any level of math from elementary school to Calculus 1 and 2.
