About John
I obtained my bachelors of English at Arizona State University in 2020. I have been tutoring privately for the past 5 years but started my tutoring career in my sophomore year of college. I worked in the writing center at my university, helping my fellow students with their essays. I started tutoring secondary school kids during my senior year of college. I have a passion for literature and writing. I use that as a driving force behind my lessons. I am confident that I will help my students succeed!

I believe in meeting my students where they're at. I've helped kids of various educational abilities from gifted learners to learners with special needs. My first lesson with a new student is a breakdown of their goals and understanding of the materials we will be covering.
Although I primarily work with kids at the secondary level, I can also lend my services to students at the college level. I worked in my university's writing center as a tutor. I would proofread, help restructure, and fix any grammar mistakes that my students had.
