About Christine
My name is Christine and as I mentioned before I have been a foreign English teacher in S.E Asia for several years now.
I really enjoy traveling and working. Especially doing something I really enjoy such as teachings English.
Besides being an English teacher I love the outdoors such as camping and hiking. I have 2 small dogs, garden and occasionally buy birds.
In my free time I read, find new ways to become more sustainable and prepare lesson plans.
I hope that I will be able to enjoy these wonderful things in life for years to come.

Over the course of my teaching career I have had to use mandated curriculums with the ability to design my own lesson plans. In some cases I have had to create my own ESL curriculums, depending on the teaching agreements and students. Although I have primarily used a structural approach to teach all 4 language skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing. This is done by using the guidelines of both a required textbook, workbook and other supporting materials. All of this has been done in order to prepare language learners for the international ESL exams such as Cambridge or IELTS.
