About Anna
Hi my name is Anna and I’m in my 1st year of university. I have been tutoring students in math for the last three years through a school program and wish to continue teaching outside of school. I was part of an accelerated math program which ensured a deeper understanding of the given topics. Every individual's needs and level of learning influence the way that I teach and help with a given topic, and I hope that I can be the tutor you’re looking for!

We’ll be focusing on: • math • homework help • test-taking skills • organization skills • understanding new math concepts • and more I can teach and tutor all students grades 1-8 following the Canadian curriculum in both mathematics and sciences. All levels of students are welcome, be that they are looking to learn the basics or find a deeper understanding of the topic. I believe that it is best not to lecture students but to instead offer positive reinforcement and take the lesson back a step to gauge the student's comprehension. I want to help people learn any math concepts they are having trouble with, and help keep you organized. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and supportive, anyone is welcome!
