About Holden
I am currently a Junior at Mississippi State University! I am pursuing degrees in Music Education and Music Performance with a concentration in flute and piano. I am a well-established performer in my area and an award-winning flutist! I have performed with groups including the MSU Wind Ensemble and Starkville Symphony, as well as gaining special recognition as a featured soloist with several groups and the MSU-Starkville 2025 Concerto Competition Winner.
I am also a devoted educator! I have given private lessons on clarinet, piano, saxophone, flute, and voice for several years and have co-taught at several public schools whenever I am able! I am currently a part of the prestigious Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program at MSU and received special recognition due to my efforts in teaching.

I believe anybody can play an instrument with a little hard work and some help along the way! I love teaching more than anything else, and I'll be happy to take a student at any level or age to help them achieve their personal goals with music!
I specifically teach flute and clarinet, but am also a concert pianist and trained vocalist and will help in any area that a student needs! I will meet a musician at any level, whether they've ever played or not, and my end goal is to get them to wherever they want to be. Jazz, beatbox, classical, or any other kind of music is fair game! I am open to suggestions from anyone, and will do whatever I can to help my students feel satisfied and happy with their performance and musicianship.
