I am currently studying engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, however I am taking online classes this semester back at home in Nashville. I graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy and have experience tutoring math and science for both middle and high school students.

The best answer to a question is another question. If a student is struggling with a certain concept, it is not enough to give him or her the equations or the solutions outright. If the student can come to their own understanding of the concept, guided by smaller, easier questions from the instructor, then they will remember that concept forever. When teaching, I try to avoid giving students the easiest equation or method to solving the problem at hand. Instead, I do my best to get them thinking in the right direction using bigger-picture questions that narrow down to the problem. When they finally come to their own solution, they have created a mental pathway to solving the problem that they will never forget.

Perfect! Sebastian is a patient guy. He responds within a respectable time when you need him. If you have a problem with his methodology, he is lenient on tailoring to your learning style. He doesn't just wanna help you get your problems done, but he also wants to help you understand the concept! For this reason I think he is a well balanced tutor in his teaching abilities!
