About Maya
I am french-canadian teacher freshly moved to London. Currently I am doing supply teaching in South-West London, and I'm also looking to tutor in french or english.
I did lots of french tutoring throughout my university years, and I've become quite the expert at helping emerging french speakers become more comfortable and fluent. I believe that fluidity of a langage is achieved through a good understanding of grammar. My goal is to make my student feel proud and confident of their progress. I achieve this through positive reinforcment and personalized tutoring. Every child learns differently!
I'm also in the process of finishing my TELF certification, in order to teach english as a second langage, and would love to take on students looking to improve comprehension and fluidity in english as well.
