About Ahriel
I graduated when I was seventeen with my associate's degree. When I was in school, I was always the kid who would VOLUNTEER to do math problems on the board (I know, weird right?)! With that being said, I would hear a lot from my professors that I should consider being a math teacher because I have a natural habit of explaining things as I go. It would fill my heart quite a bit to actually see my classmates writing stuff down after I do examples. I currently tutor my mom as she has decided to go back to school, and decided I should try to extend my help further! I understand that math can be a very stressful subject, and I am here to alleviate that stress and make life just a tad easier (because stressing over school? I have soooo been there!).

I teach all grades and ages. My approach is through example problems and explaining the steps along the way, ensuring that my student has a complete understanding of what I am doing and why before moving on to the next step. Truly understand why we add/subtract or multiply/divide in a given situation is what helped me understand math a lot better! I am a super patient person, and if one approach doesn't work, I'll ask questions to identify where I can improve as a tutor!
