About Lenox
I graduated from UCL with a First Class in Comparative Literature. I then moved on to complete a MA in Creative Film Production at Catalyst (Institute for Creative Arts and Technology), and graduated with Distinction. As someone who’s studied arts and humanities almost all my life, I am familiar with the writing style and criteria. I could offer lessons on any aspect of essay writing which you may need help with!

Hello! I'm Lenox Lin.
During both my BA and MA, I've practiced writing both academically and creatively. As a literature student, I understand the struggle of working on essays: planning, structuring, writer’s block, editing…
I’m here to offer some help with the essay writing process! I graduated with a First Class Honour from my BA Comparative Literature degree, with a First Class in my Dissertation. I have a lot of experience in writing academic essays, at both A-levels and Undergraduate level. I am familiar with the academic writing style and the grading criteria. I could offer feedback sessions, proofreading and editing sessions, essay planning sessions… depending on your needs!
As you may already know, essay writing isn’t something that could be easily taught; most of the time it’s about general feedback and guidance. With my lessons, I will be focused more on asking questions instead of answering: that is to offer you the chance to explore possibilities and your own writing style, to inspire you with new ideas and methods to present your concepts.
My lessons are mainly online, but we could also negotiate in person lessons if you’d prefer that.
