About Aniya
Hello everyone! I am a current student who has always had a passion for school, particularly math! Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family. I have a pretty unique mix of hobbies, some of which include, sudoku puzzles, playing my instrument (i was in band for six years!), and sewing! Other defining parts of my personality include how I am always up to help people, make new friends, and overall my amazing work ethic!

As a student, I understand the frustrations that come along with learning a new or harder subject. I also understand that most of the frustration comes from the student having a unique learning style.
My tutoring sessions are geared towards students in introductory math levels such as Elementary school, middle school, or beginning high school courses. In these tutoring sessions, I will assess where the student is having trouble and begin there! During my tutoring sessions, I will also be doing regular check-ins on the level of understanding of the student (not tests but progress checks to see if they grasped the material). By assessing where the student is at in their understanding I hope to be able to create a unique teaching style with the student that allows their learning style to shine through!
