About Kathy
Hello, my name is Kathy, and I am a passionate and dedicated English tutor committed to helping students develop confidence and improve their communication skills in a supportive learning environment. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach.
My teaching style is student-centered, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs, goals, and pace. I focus on making lessons interactive and practical by combining speaking practice, vocabulary building, grammar improvement, reading activities, and meaningful discussions to strengthen communication skills and language confidence. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and learn in a positive environment where mistakes are viewed as part of growth and progress.
Lessons are carefully planned to match the student’s level and objectives while maintaining a balance between learning and enjoyment. A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and includes guided instruction, practice activities, feedback, and opportunities for students to confidently apply new knowledge.
I have experience teaching students of different ages and English proficiency levels, including children, teenagers, and adult learners in both individual and group settings. My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, particularly students who wish to improve speaking confidence, everyday communication, grammar, vocabulary, presentation skills, and overall English ability.

I also incorporate discussion, role-play, guided practice, and personalized feedback to help students improve effectively while staying motivated.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs, learning objectives, and attention span. Lessons are structured to include review, practice, interactive activities, and opportunities for students to apply what they have learned.
