About Clarisse

I currently live in London, where I embrace the vibrant city life while also staying connected to my love for nature. Running is a big part of my life – I’ve completed multiple half marathons and triathlons, constantly pushing my limits and challenging myself to do more. The thrill of racing and the sense of accomplishment that comes from crossing the finish line are things that drive me forward. When I’m not running or training, you’ll often find me out on the water, surfing. The ocean has a way of recharging me, and there's something incredibly freeing about catching a wave. I’m passionate about being outdoors and spending time in nature – it’s where I feel most grounded and at peace. But above all, what I truly love is helping people. Whether it's supporting a friend, offering guidance, or simply being there for others, I find joy in making a positive impact. People are what make life meaningful, and I’m always looking for ways to connect, learn from others, and contribute to the world around me.

About the lesson

In my French lessons, I prioritise speaking the language as much as possible. As a native French speaker, I believe that immersing students in authentic French pronunciation and accents is key to their learning experience. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident speaking French, as I believe that communication is at the heart of language learning. Many traditional lessons focus heavily on grammar, which is important, but it can sometimes leave students unable to hold a conversation. While I will of course cover grammar and help you understand the structure of the language, my primary focus is on practical communication. I want you to learn how to read, speak, and understand French in real-world situations. We’ll do plenty of exercises to build your vocabulary and speaking skills, because I believe that the more you practise talking, the more fluent you’ll become. By focusing on listening, speaking, and expanding your vocabulary, you’ll start to sound more like a native speaker and gain confidence in your ability to converse naturally.
