About Catherine

I did 4 years in College. I did one year in Human sciences and 3 years in Police studies. I am currently working in an airport and I have some time to spare so I thought why not teach people the French language. French is my first language and, in College, we had to take at least 4 French courses. I always had very good grades in French and I know my vocabulary very good. I thank you for your trust and I can’t wait to meet you.

About the lesson

Since I am from Quebec, I believe I have the skills to teach you the real thing. I’ve been to French school my whole life. So that means all of my primary school, high school, college was in French. I have kept all of the lessons I had and my mom also is a teacher and has a lot of work that we are going to be using! We will also use sites that are from Quebec and in French that will help us in our online lessons! I am also very flexible so we can find the perfect schedule for the both of us!

Perfect! Catherine is an excellent tutor for our 11 year old daughter! We wanted someone to focus and expand on vocabulary used in everyday French conversation rather than reading and writing which are key areas focused in school. BORING!!!
Conversational component was lacking for our daughter so we needed someone to strengthen that area by thinking “outside of the box” and make it fun! The valuable resources and activities provided for practice made our daughter want to learn more and not give up. It was different. Catherine was attuned to our daughter’s level and adjusted lessons accordingly. She was very patient and fun! FUN being key because learning should be enjoyable. Our daughter really liked her and her confidence level grew better every time. Thank you Catherine!
