About Alrie

Growing up, I was a really shy young girl with raw talent. Singing became one of the main things that helped me come out of my shell and build confidence in myself. My own vocal lessons and early experiences with music played a huge role in shaping who I am today, which is one of the reasons I feel so passionate about helping others grow in confidence with their voices too.

Hi, I’m Alrie - a singer-songwriter and contemporary vocalist with years of experience performing, recording and working within the music industry. I studied at BIMM London where I achieved a Diploma in Popular Music Performance (Vocals), and I have also had over 5 years of vocal training myself.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to perform and tour internationally as a live/studio vocalist, including performances at major events and venues such as Coachella, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and tours across Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia alongside established artists and musicians.

My background is mainly within contemporary music, particularly R&B and pop, and I always aim to create a relaxed, supportive and judgement-free environment in my lessons. I understand how vulnerable singing can feel, especially for beginners, so my goal is never to make students sound like somebody else, but to help them develop confidence, technique and a better understanding of their own unique voice.

I’m approachable, patient and genuinely love seeing people grow and become more comfortable expressing themselves through music.

About the lesson

My lessons are focused on helping students build confidence in their voice while improving technique in a relaxed and supportive environment. I teach contemporary vocals with a strong focus on R&B, pop and modern styles, but I always tailor lessons to each individual student and their goals.

Whether you are a complete beginner, an aspiring artist, someone preparing for performances or simply wanting to improve your singing voice, lessons are designed to help you grow at your own pace without feeling intimidated. We can work on vocal control, breath support, pitch, tone, runs and riffs, confidence, performance skills and finding your own unique sound.

Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour and are currently held face to face or online. I like to keep sessions engaging, encouraging and practical while still making sure students understand proper vocal technique and healthy singing habits.

Alongside coaching, I am also a singer-songwriter and experienced live/studio vocalist with years of performance experience across different world stages and environments. I also have a diploma in Popular Music Performance. My background in contemporary music allows me to bring real industry insight into lessons while keeping them enjoyable and approachable for all levels.
