When it comes to mathematics, my approach focuses on practice-based learning because solving problems helps students learn by doing, rather than just reading theory. As a grade 12 student who has faced challenges with math in the past, I’ve developed strategies to study smarter, not harder, which has significantly improved my academic performance.
In a typical lesson, we will start with a quick review of previous concepts to ensure the foundation is strong. Then, we will tackle new problems together, breaking them down step-by-step. I encourage questions throughout the session to maintain an interactive and engaging environment.
I will primarily be working with students in grades 11 and below, helping them with topics ranging from algebra and trigonometry to transformation of functions. My goal is not just to improve grades but to also foster a positive attitude toward math.
