About ELODIE

I am a Health Science student and bilingual in both French and English accurately. I have more than 5 years of experience in tutoring and I am more than convinced that I am capable and able of pursuing this great work.
In my experience so far,many students face difficulties in excelling in the studies and that for diverse reasons.As a professional in tutoring, my role is to understand my students, make them feel comfortable in addressingtheir difficulties faced while been professional, building their trust in them, making them believe in them and understanding that they can make it, making them have confidence in their efforts, encouraging them through out and accompanying them to academic success.
In every student resides a great person,they just need to discover that person. For Practice makes perfect.

About the lesson

As a tutor there are manyteaching techniques and methodolody to approach depending on the student I face. I have more than 5 years tutoring experience and I can tell that despite the numerous techniques, there are some which are very cricial and helpful.
Firstly, be friendly with students. Teaching is not just about opening a book and explaining course outlines but understanding the student, making the student be confortable with you, so as for the student to be able to ask questions and without fear and without ultering the fact of being professional.
Secondly,be prepared. Every student isn't the same, some take less time to assimilatewhile others might take more.
Thirdly, organization. Some students already attend schools so no ,eed to re-do the same thing the teacher did in class but instead, try to breakdown the notes making it understandable for the student and providing personnal timetables to the student. For those who don't attend school, then I should follow a standardized course outline for the student depending on their level of studies.
Provide daily or regular assignments and make sure the student does them.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my desire and passion for making students great at what they do by accompanying them through out their academic path.

I offer tutoring to primary and secondary school students. So my lessons are for primary and science secondary school students whose great dream is to excel academically.
