About Ian
I have taught French and Spanish as a Head of MFL since qualifying as a teacher in 2006. I have worked in a range of schools in the West Midlands, and am very proud of the results my students have obtained at GCSE and A Level. I am also responsible for Teaching and Learning in my current school, and aim to include the latest educational research in my teaching and tutoring practice.

As an experienced Head of languages I have taught GCSE French and Spanish for over 15 years and am extremely familiar with all aspects of the exams. I include grammar, speaking and writing in all my lessons and aim to ensure students are comfortable with the vocabulary expected of them at each tier of the examinations.
